How to Print a PDF With Sticky Notes
Adobe Reader allows you to annotate a PDF file with sticky notes. With the click of a mouse, you can insert these yellow and white callout icons on the PDF page as you type comments. When you are ready to print, this program converts your annotations to a Summary of Comments page. Preview this Summary of Comments page before you print your expanded PDF file.
- Install Adobe Reader X, if it is not already on your computer.
- Open the PDF with Adobe Reader, click the "Add Sticky Note" button on the toolbar and click in the PDF where you wish to insert this icon. You can also click the "Comments" link in the right corner to open the Annotations pane and then click "Sticky Note." A dialog box with your name, date and time will display.
- Type your comment in the box.
- Power on your printer.
- Click the "Print" button on the toolbar. Click the "Summarize Comments" button in the Comments & Forms section.
- Click "Yes" to close the Adobe Reader dialog box and list the comments. The Print dialog box will show the preview window. Click the page arrow or click and drag the slide button under the preview window to navigate to the Summary of Comments page.
